Running Out Of Time

I think we all go through life in a hurry.  Always trying to get things done and move on to the next thing on the list.  Wake up, go to work, go home, make dinner, and go to bed.  It seems like a never ending cycle that most of us go through, and that's just how life goes.  Many people don't realize that every second spent doing something, is a second you never get back.  Second turn into minutes, to hours, days, years...  Time goes by constantly and never pauses.  Constantly, we are running out of time.  We get caught up in trying to make a living, making money, getting a house or car, and getting things that arent really important.  What we do should have more meaning, we need to value our own time, do the things you've longed to do now, live like there isn't a tomorrow, because one day, there wont be.  Make it count now, do what you've been waiting to do, stop holding off, and don't put life on hold.  Experience life for what it is and experience it to the fullest.

The Perfect Pair

You love everything about me
Good and bad without exceptions,
It's easy to get lost in you
You perfect for me without question,
There's nothing but you
Forever til eternity and more,
You're the only one
That I'd do anything for,
The bliss is undescribable
You slowly become my drug,
Nothing will ever feel better
Than being a part of this love,
If we ever part
Nothing will compare,
This is how I know
That we're the perfect pair.

Alone

It's like you've fallen down
And you can't get up,
It's worse this time
And they've had enough,
It's breaking your heart
Cause there's no return,
It hurts more than anything
But you have to learn,
You've done it this time
There's no going back,
You say you'd do anything
But she won't take you back,
There were so many signs
That you couldn't see,
After all those years
She just wanted to be free,
Now you'll live all your life
Alone and in misery,
For all you didn't want
And could not see,
Love is better than money
But you will never know,
I don't think you'll every get up
From sinking so low.

Something New

What you think is gonna make you happy
Is really gonna make you miserable,
The path your walking on
To me is unbelievable,
By the time you ruin everything
It'll be too late to put it back,
When you see what you've done
You won't be able to look back,
Your current train of thought
Is the last thing you would doubt,
All your walls will come crumbling down
And you won't find a way out,
You'll be begging for help
But no one will hear your cry,
It'll be all because of you
And the way you had to lie,
All the lies you told yourself
Created your fake fairytale,
All the dreams you've had
Of a rich and gullible male,
You couldn't stand the thought
Of none of it coming true,
So you dug yourself a hole
Just because you wanted something new.

Vacation

I just took a road trip with my family from Eureka to Kernville, then to South Lake Tahoe. On the road to South Lake Tahoe, we stopped at a Carl's Jr. It just so happened to have The Green Burrito (The Restaurant that sometimes shares the same space). I tried the Southwest Tacos and fell in love with them. I wish we had one in our Carl's Jr. in Eureka. We have nothing comparable to this restaurant in Eureka. The tacos tasted sooo fresh and it wasn't fried. Everything at Taco Bell is fried or just upsets your stomach. The Green Burrito was delicious! In South Lake Tahoe, we dropped into a Baja Fresh... They have no microwaves, no freezers, and no canned food. You can see how they prepare EVERYTHING. This food was delicious too.
On our trip in Tahoe, we rented bicycles and rode through the paved trails meant just for walking and bike riding. The trail goes through the woods, to various towns, and even takes you to the beach. The ride was exhilarating and the rentals were only $9 hour per bike. In Tahoe there are tons of places you can rent Kayaks from but there is one that is more affordable and on a beach that less tourists go to. Its at Baldwin Beach, and Timber Cove Marina runs the Kayak Rental. It saves you between $5 and $10, depending on how many you are renting. You do have to pay to get into the beach but there is a parking lot before the pay booth and you don't have to pay the $7 fee. Oh, and no dogs are allowed at that beach. Most beaches in South Lake Tahoe have day use fees.
While we were looking at places to get married, we were told about Sand Harbor. After the 30 minute drive there, and the 30 minute wait in line... in our CAR, we were told that its $12 to get in. All we wanted to do was look at the wedding site! They said we could look without paying but we couldn't PARK! So we drove by and couldn't really see anything. When we thought that our guests for the wedding might have a different entrance rather than waiting 30min to get in, we were corrected. They have to wait in that same line. They have reserved parking but, you have to wait to get through the line and the people in front of you only get in as others leave the parking lot. So who knows how long our guests would be waiting. Then we asked about booking.... They don't book til the 1st of January and the way they book is by first come first serve. People line up, in their cars, waiting for them to open. They take calls last. That's Ridiculous!
Anyways! Overall the trip was fantastic. I love Lake Tahoe, and would love to move there.

Two vs. True Love

The heartache of choosing
Spreads through my body,
The thought of not having you
Enters impossibility,
The pain it causes me
Will never fail,
It sprouts the deafening scream
In every wail,
I can't live without you
But choose not only you,
I want to make you happy
But it will hurt to,
I never thought I could feel
For someone else,
I'll never admit
The way that I felt,
Decisions were never easy
For me to make,
I hope I get it right
For true loves sake.

Lying Smile

The angry glimmer in you eye
Proves how much you hate me,
The lies spilling out your lips
Hide it so no one can see,
The smile on your face
Is deceitful in every way,
You think I'm not listening
To the hurtful words you say,
I've heard them all
But you repeat them so often,
Every time you speak
Your burying me in my coffin,
With every word
The farther I fall into darkness,
And with every lie
You force me into happiness,
Our small family
Has always been a lie,
You're constantly accusing me
Of numerous ways I defy,
How can I follow
You impossible demands,
You've locked me in this house
And bound my hands,
Everyone can see
Through your stained smile,
Strangers can see
The lies after a while,
You've lied to everyone
But can't lie to me anymore,
You've taken our time and energy
But what possibly for,
What could possibly make
This all worth while,
The money, the status
Nothings worth enduring your fake smile.
